Update

Hey guys!

I know I haven't been updating this blog for so long.

I have been busy with other things but I need to share with you so much with a lot of stuffs.

I have found a very affordable method to straighten your hair from home and ..I'm just so thankful I've found the product. At least now I don't have to spend at least AU200++ in salon to get straight hair that will only last me 2 months!

So besides all the depressing news we've been hearing this month (#sydneysiege & #flight8501 - I tell you I've never been up to date with news as much as this time around) I hope I'll be writing more post and connect with more bloggers & readers next year.

Before I say good bye, I would like to wish you Happy New Year and hope you're having a great holiday with your family and friends.

I'll see you in 2015!

Muahks! Bye!!!!! =)

Sad day for Sydney

My eyes are glued to the news since this morning. What a horrible day for Australia especially Sydneysiders. So far 5 people have escaped. My thoughts are with those people who are held hostage and their families. #sydneyseige #prayforsydney

Our 1 Year Anniversary

< Warning : Gazillion photos in this post. Read on wifi network recommended ;) >

I love how my mil gives life advice to us

I can't believe how time flies. We've been married for one year.

Last night before we went to sleep we reminisced for a while what exactly we were doing around that time a year ago.

I was admiring my living hall which had turned from a simple plain area into a very fancy place with loads of crystal vases and flowers. Then I realized we didn't have enough carpets to cover the whole floor of the living rooms so my brother was kind enough to go to my aunty's house (30 km away) to pick up extra carpets. I was looking forward to get some rest on that night cuz I literally ran everywhere to get everything prepared.

And today, I can't help but to reflect how the wedding went. It didn't go as smooth as I wanted to but it was ok. It was the first wedding in the family so there were few things that were overlooked.

Honestly I was quite disappointed with how it went but in the end I know can't control everything. Sometimes you just gotta let the imperfections roll in and let it be!

At least the food was great and the weather was excellent!

So today I thought I'll show some of my wedding photos here for you guys. Just to immortalize the most significant day of my life in this little space I created. And also to express my gratitude to have finally found a life partner who gives me the emotional stability I was looking for my whole life and who fills partial of the empty hole in my heart (I'm reserving the rest when I have a child, then I'll be complete. Hehe)

Before I get into it, I just want to briefly explain that the weddings in Malay culture normally starts with solemnization which is the legal signing ceremony between the groom and the bride. The newlyweds then would have two separate receptions, as a way to introduce the partner to the whole extended family and friends. The bride would have the reception first followed by the groom's on a later date..

So here it goes..

Solemnization Day (11.12.13 @ Cheras, KL)

Reception on my side (13.12.13 @ Dewan Perdana Felda, KL)

With my ex colleagues

My high school friends

My activity friends. We used to do all sorts of things together. Badminton, marathon, water rafting. Heck even studio jamming! Haha! Miss those days.

My new family

I've always wanted sisters and now I have two of them! My new SILs

Do you guys know him? He's a celebrity and apparently, he's my cousin! Well second or third cousin I think. His wife was pregnant at this time and she looked so gorgeous.

My extended family (my father's side)

Reception on my hub's side (21.12.13 @ Dewan PKPS, Shah Alam)

Bridesmaid, Bestman & The Glam Squad

My hub's friends from Melbourne flew down (or up?!) to attend our wedding. So nice of them!

Subang Jaya friends. They were all childhood friends and I kinda got absorbed into the group. The friendliest crew I've ever met.

My bridesmaid and my bestfriend

Models Prefer Color Portfolio Cosmetic Kit

Normally I'm not a huge fan of a "all-in-1" makeup palette but I had to give this an exception when I swatched some of the eye shadows in the store.

This kit comes with 64 shades of eyeshadows, 32 lip glosses, 8 blushes / bronzes and small brushes. The eye shadows were quite pigmented for the price I paid which was $18. There are just a lot of warm earth tone colors to play with and I can't wait to try out different looks with these selections. My only complain about this kit is that there are not much products in the lip glosses pans. One pan can only provide about two times of applications so if you like a certain color you have to find it elsewhere. But if you're like me, you'd like to experiment with different kind of colors but wouldn't want to spend $10 bucks for a blue lipstick, then maybe this makeup kit is for you.

I'm going to play around with this beautiful baby soon. Hope to see you again in my next entry. And don't forget to add me in my Instagram. I'll be posting more make up looks, swatches and mini reviews in it. Till then see you next time =)
